xPON, passive optical network, is a pure media network, with a main feature of eliminating the active equipment in the access network. Thus, xPON can get rid of the effects from electromagnetic interference and lightning, reducing the fault rate of the lines and external devices. Meanwhile, for it is passive, there is no need for power supply distribution and complex network administration, which greatly lowers the costs for deployment. xPON devices include OLT (optical line terminal), ONU (Optical network unit) and ODU (optical distribution network). With the time of fiber replacing cooper, xPON will become the new universal access technology. And for ONU terminals, 1 to Many test are required for mass production.
Xtramus provides 1 to Many test to verify the performances of the ONU terminals.
The main functionalities and features are:
● Available for 10G/1000M/100M/10M Ethernet
● Available to set the Up/Down Stream transmission rate of every link
● Available to specify multiple packet lengths for one link
● Having the ability of traffic statistics
