XTE-2402G supports IEEE802.1x for authentication and up to 16 MAC address entries per downstream port; inaddition, up to 256 multicast addresses are supported for Video On Demand and Video Conference applications.
XTE-2402G supports precise rate control for the receive and transmit path of each downstream port using the IEEE 802.3x flow control mechanism for full duplex transmission and backpressure for half duplex transmission.
XTE-2402G supports glueless connection with popular CPU such as 8051, MPC850 Series, Renesas SH, and ARM7.
XTE-2402G supports the addition and removal of VLAN Tag. Each port may be assigned a full range of VLAN ID and the same VLAN ID can be assigned to different ports to provide 802.1Q like feature to facilitate billing.
XTE-2402G provides full set of RMON counter on per port basis for billing, network management, and troubleshooting.
Linux-based RTOS support for software features such as SNMP v1 ~ v3, IGMP v1 ~ v3, 802.1x, and Web Browser is available for XTE-2402G.
XTE-2402G is manufactured by TSMC using 0.25-micro process and operated on a 2.5V (3.3V I/Os) core power. It is offered in a 272-pin PBGA(Plastic Ball Grid Array) package.
